Welsh Weekend

I know that some of you have seen some vague hints about an
event. Planning proceeds as we speak, and you have plenty of
time before you will want to join in, as it's likely to be
September-October time 2021.
Expect to have the chance for a "Hillclimb" (not as steep as
Shelsley Walsh,) some driving tests, a long distance event where
it may well be team based. Currently my thoughts on this are
based on the Gordon Bennett where country teams are the core.
That's based on the country of origin of your inspiration car.
eg an MG would be GB, Bugatti France. There's a fiendish scheme
in my mind to get the result, and it's NOT first across the
line.
As can be seen from the heading, it's intended for a weekend,
the venue is a stately home, and the area abounds with
interesting things for non participants to do, so bringing other
family members along is encouraged.
Watch this space! In the meantime, I have been asked by the
property owner to consider noise levels, so......

Sounds interesting Rhys, depends on what shows I have (if any),
and Mam of course, hopefully I'll muster enough enthusiasm to
get the Morgan finished by then.

That kind of event sounds very interesting, hopefully it would
be open to all members,
I would certainly be up for something like that, although I do
need to finish my car first!
Have been doing some work on the house and building an extra run
for the chickens to keep them enclosed because of the avian bird
flu, so my Riley special has taken a back seat for the moment.

Sounds great, try and avoid 8-13th Sept, its the National
Microcar Rally, also to be held in the Welsh/English border.

In reply to Stuart, yes open to all members, why not unless of
course the numbers got out of hand.
If I were involved when that happens my vote would be for the
cars with a clear inspiration car would be prioritised.

What's the plan re overnight...camp in the grounds, local
hotels, just keep driving the CK's through the night???
