Had been thinking about what to do for the rear/eng cover. But
wanted to add some style (in my foggy eyes , that is ;D).
This is were the "Ish" part of the Title comes in. As used a
little bit of Artistic licence here so please don't be too hard
on me. LOL. I had already decided i was going to build another
very different (in design) CK to this one in the future . So why
not borrow the back end from that one (had started collecting
parts) and make it fit this .
I had acquired a back piece of an Austin Pathfinder Childs pedal
car , which is loosely based on the Original Austin Twin cam
       Racer of the 1930s.
Obviously it was going to be way to small to cover the engine,
and fit the sided of the ply body work already fitted.
So a lot of cutting, shutting and extending went on.

Ok , back to thinking about keeping that engine cool, letting
hot out out and getting cool air in to the tail section.
Thinking ....Vent on the top and sides to allow for hot air from
engine and exhaust escaping. Plus Vent/scoops in each side to
force air in whilst going along. But also trying to keep that
       lovely curved shape .
I think , in the end , it ended up looking quite "Dan Dare" or
"Jules Verne" early spaceship like , from the comic books .
       What do you think ?

Ok , you caught me out , had to bring it in doors (see the last
pic, above) to help the glass fibre / filler dry , warm it
through. Remember am doing this in December/Jan/Feb.
Spot the guard dog. Must have been cold out ....He hasn.t
moved for hours ....frozen stiff. He he he.
Time for the smelly paint. Always looks so much better in
primer....Hides a thousand imperfections .....and then turn it
all (one of the many versions of Bluebird) Blue. Look at old
archive pictures of different Bluebirds, all seemed a slightly
different shade. My choice is RAL 5012 , available in good old
       aerosol ;D.

Had already decided , i was going to run a 219 Kart drive system
(Chain and Sprockets), due to more choice of aluminium
sprockets, Finer pitch, more clearance, lighter and low cost,
easily available from all karts suppliers . Use Ebay prob a bit
       too much  ::)
Found i needed to join another chain , 118 link longest i could
       find , about 20 too short .
