The Stan Cup 2020

The Stan Cup is awarded annually for promoting CycleKarting in
Great Britain and in particular for encouraging others to join
in and keep going. It is not a competition and it is awarded by
the current holder to someone whose contribution they want to
recognise.
A year ago, at our Meeting at Stretton on 5th May, I was humbled
to be the first recipient of the Cup. It is therefore time for
me to hand the Cup to another member of my choosing. Although
there has been some worthy effort by others, it has not been too
difficult for me to select one individual this year. This member
has spent much personal time promoting the hobby and his
enthusiasm shines in all of his contributions. In particular his
video work at meetings and his build-diary are constantly
encouraging new members. The fact that he is young, keen and
willing to learn new skills through the CycleKarting forum, but
is also bringing new ideas of his own, demonstrates an important
component of the hobby.
Therefore, I’m sure that you will agree with me that Marek
Nahajski is a much deserving recipient of the Stan Cup 2020. I
wish you well for your future Marek and look forward to our next
meeting, where I will be able to hand over the Cup in person.

Thank you Graham! I feel very privileged to be awarded the cup
this year, especially with all the other amazing cyclekarts and
ideas people have been coming up with. I definitely plan o
continuing and can't wait for the next meet :)

Congratulations Marek, as I said at the virtual meeting, well
