Newbie seeking torque converter

Hi everyone.
Well I’ve bitten the bullet and have started ordering some of
the initial parts for my future build, wheels, tyres, axles etc.
I think I’m going to buy a genuine Honda GX200 but I’m really
struggling to find a reasonably priced torque converter.
From what I’ve read on the forum people seem to talk of sub £50
TC’s (with issues of unobtainable belts) and then a massive jump
up to £200 for a known model of better quality.
However, I’m struggling to find anywhere near the sub £50
bracket so can anyone give me an actual internet link to one
that:
(1) is actually available in September ‘26 and,
(2) that has some history of use within the community and spare
belts are available?
No doubt, many questions will follow from me throughout the
build but thanks for now.

Must be out of stock, the best I can find is about £80 now,
which was usual about four years ago before Vevor went cheap.
You might try to phone Alex at red circles as he did import a
few a while ago but they never went on his website. A phonecall
is often the way to deal with Alex

I’ve just had a look on AliExpress, even though you can get
torque converters for £50 they want £65-£85 to post to the UK.
Gulp!
