Cumbria Classic and Motorsport Show at Dalemain on August 23rd

CANCELLED, NOT RUNNING THIS YEAR.
We have been invited to this event if we can muster numbers.
This is a post to gauge interest in this event. The committee
have looked at the clash with the South West event at Zoyland
and moved to run both events if they are feasible.
To justify this event, we would need 10 cyclekarts / drivers at
100% likelihood of attendance as the Wigton Motor Club will need
to organise the day with us in mind.
The event will be dynamic on grass in 2 areas. A display arena
fenced off from the public for 1 or two sessions and a Trials
area fenced off from the public for one or two sessions on the
day. Camping will be available payable to the country house @
£20 on the Saturday night and the Sunday.
The field is well drained pasture land in a beautiful setting
near Ulswater in the lake district. The event is one of the
biggest car shows in the north of England...

Thanks for sorting this Jim, hopefully you get the required
support for this. Its still a long haul for the Scottish
members, but at least we are moving events further north.
Unfortunately, I cant make it as we will be taking the grandkids
camping.

I am in need of getting back to the Wigton motor club on this
event. We are short of entries to make this viable and I may
have to abandon this unless we can show support. Please can you
indicate any further support by end of week so I can make the
decision.

Hi Jim
I'll have to be removed from the list for this one - I've got
family hols out of the way now but my car (towing vehicle ) has
a slipping clutch. Managed to get it booked in eventually -
"drop it off Monday and we'll fit it in when we can"
