wheels and tyres

gents sorry but this has probably been asked loads of times, I'm
looking to buy the pit bike wheels from Gemini Karts does anyone
have experience of these and also what Tyers are best to go for.

The wheels Gemini are stocking are I believe the 1.4" wide rims
and we have had experience of these not being durable enough for
rear axle applications in a few karts. We tend to recommend the
1.6" rim ones for rears. If you are looking at tyres, then road
pattern ones rather than the knobbly ones that you get with some
of the pit bike wheels are more appropriate as we have to limit
the use of knobbly tyres at some events. Ring red circles about
the wheels, mention cyclekarts and ask when they get the next
batch of wheels in if you can wait as they ship the 1.6" rim
ones
