       Does anyone have access to a CNC engraver/router that can do
       brass?  I want to get a couple of small things engraved from a
       DXF file.  Thanks

       No, but in the past I have used vinyl to protect the brass, then
       immersed it in Ferric Deccachloride (I think, it was about 25
       years ago!).  Anyhow, its used to etch away brass when making
       custom printed circuit boards.  Looks a lot better than
       engraving.
       I can take a photo of a wind chime made using this technique if
       your interested.
