This first post of this topic will be updated as and when
information is received or becomes available.
DATE: 31st May to 1st June
VENUE: National Kit Car Show at the Three Counties Showground /
Malvern WR13 6NW.
STATUS: Endorsed
DESCRIPTION: Static display and dynamic displays on our own
grass arena as part of a kit car show. The track location and
layout will be much the same as 2024. There will probably be a
fun concourse event and parade around the venue on the Saturday
evening. Here is some action from last years event.

JURISDICTION: NORA permit
EVENT SUPPORT ROLES:
Event Lead – Ian Fletcher
Clerk of Course – Ian Fletcher
Deputy Clerks of Course – Tim Holdsworth, Tim Wheater.
Event Secretary – Tim Wheater
Marshals – Entrants are expected to take turns to marshal the
activities.
Timekeepers - Jim Rawnsley, Jeff Heath, John Pearce.
Medical - Provided by venue
EVENT REGULATIONS: Issued 23/4/25, and listed as an attachment
at the bottom of this post (log in to see attachments).
COSTS: There will be two sets of costs, one for entrance to the
show and camping, the other for entry to the CKGB activities.
Show entry - The daily admission for each cyclekart attending,
is one free entry ticket for the driver. Additional persons are
£15 (£13 in advance).
Weekend camping is £15 (£10 in advance) for the driver.
Additional persons are £30 (£20 in advance). The camping tickets
include free admission to the show.
CKGB activities - The entry fee for the CKGB dynamic activities
is likely to be around £10 to £12 for drivers and less for
additional drivers.

bottom of this post (log in to see attachments).
OTHER COMMENTS: Camping available at a dedicated campsite with
facilities within the showground. Only those helping to manage
(clerks and event secretary) the CKGB track are to camp adjacent
to the track. We can start arriving from about 10:00 on the
Friday to set up the CKGB track.

ENTRANTS: Please can you give an early indication of entering
by posting a % probability of entry, which will allow the club
to finalise the entry fees. Persons with a probability greater
than 79% will be added to the following list as being approved
to submit an entry form. The number of entrants may be limited
to approximately 35 persons. Only APPROVED persons can submit
an entry form.

This event will be limited to approximately 35 to 40 drivers due
to the amount of space available to us.
Priority will initially be given to those members that posted on
this event topic, with a “probability of attendance” in excess
of 79%. The priority will be in the calendar order of their
post, and they are listed in that order in the heading post.
Consequently, if you want to enter and have not posted a
probability of attendance, please do so.
Entry Forms (when available) are only to be submitted by the
persons listed as “APPROVED” in the heading post of the event
topic on the Forum.
Event entry fees and details for the CKGB aspect of the event
will be detailed on the entry form, but will be about £10 to
£12.
In order to minimise wear and tear on the track and reduce the
queues of cyclekarts waiting to go on the track, we will
probably run three Groups (A, B and C). Each group will take it
in turns to take part in the dynamic activities. Whilst one
group is on the track, another group will be marshalling, and
the remaining group will be having a cuppa or fixing their
cyclekarts ;)

AMENDED ENTRY FORM
Hi all, the muppet (me :-\) that produced the entry form only
entered the early-bird discounted price, and forgot the late
entry price!
Consequently, the attached entry form at the heading post of
this topic has now been amended.
The early bird discounted price of £12 for the first driver and
£8 for additional drivers now rises to £16 and £13 respectively
after midnight on 17th May.

EVENT UPDATE
The site plan for the show has just been released, and we are in
the same area as last year.

It is also pleasing to note that the show is growing for 2025.
As well as ourselves the "Hacky Racers" will also have an action
arena, so it will be great to see their electric powered
creations in action ;D
Russ Swift will also be there with his "Performance Driving"
display, plus there will be entertainment in the evening.
This is shaping up to be a really good event ;D 8)

Is anyone bringing a part - build this year? Pred did a Stirling
job of talking to the public last year with his chassis and body
parts, A part build always draws the crowds and is a great
addition to our stand.

I can bring mine along if you like - I won't be able to stay all
day...
I live near Ross-on-Wye, so only just down the road.

I'm sure you will have a warm welcome Nick, if your cyclekart is
on a trailer, the staff at the gate last year let you in to
display without paying for a ticket, I guess this is the thing
this year but check the documents issued on the first post.
