If the committee would like an online option for the now more
widely scattered membership I can host and organise it, all I
need at the venue is a person with a laptop, and either a
conference speaker or a good onboard mic/speakers. I can post
out my mini conference speaker, it’s USB or Bluetooth, also
happy to test run before hand. Then you can email members a
link. It’s how we do my work AGM.

Is there a bar? Can I bring a fold up stool? Will the latest
range of CKGB Y fronts be for sale? Where's my 10mm socket?

Thanks, yes the formal part of the meeting will be online too
via Teams or Zoom. We've done this in the past and its worked
well enough. It is really helpful to have someone physically
in the room acting as host to the people online, to make sure
they can hear and see, and also to help the chair include them
in the meeting.

Great
There is a well stocked cafe...possibly even with beer? Please
bring you stool - then you can have a rest while you're walking
around. The branded Y fronts were supposed to be a secret, but
as it turns out, the people knitting them, won't have them ready
in time. 10mm socket?..that's a perennial question.

Ian, just wandering if you could give me a bit more info about
the A.G.M. as you have ( 3 ) individuals North of the wall
interested in attending said event BUT, in order to undertake
the necessary planning we would need to know the time you expect
to start the meeting. I say this as we must plan and book
flights and or overnight accommodation as a round trip for us
will involve 1000 miles + and up to 3 days.
Best regards,
Scotty

Hi Scotty, Stefan is the Event Lead for this event, so he will
be the best person to respond to your query.
However, in the meantime I can say that we have only just set
the location and date, and Stefan booked the venue in the last
week.
The schedule for the day is still being planned and I expect
Stefan will have further info soon.

Hi Scotty, As Ian says, I'm in the process of firming up the
details. However,to give you some feel for the plan, the formal
AGM will probably start at 10:30 and I don't expect that to take
very long. We'll follow this with a session about the new
Power Menu and possibly some other technical bits. We hope to
have some cyclekarts there for people to poke around and
inspect, and I hope a range of parts, CKjumble and things people
are working on. There's a cafe there to buy lunch. I'm also
exploring having a guest speaker. In the afternoon there'll be
a chance to go around the museum until it closes at 4:30pm.
Hope that helps.
