19th Oct South East Builders Meet

We're having a bit of a local builders meet.
Date: Sat 19th Oct
Time: 10am - 2pm
Location: Kingsley, Hampshire
Cost: Free :)
Will there be tea? Yes - we'll provide tea and a lunchtime
sausage bap.
Mark has kindly offered to host us at his workshop and we'll be
working on cyclekarts, so if you are thinking of building and
want to come and see one, want to talk through your plans, have
a problem to solve or a part to weld, something to show or share
or even fancy bringing your cyclekart along, it'll be good to
see you.
All welcome but particularly if you're from the South East of
this little island (yes including IoW!). Non-members also
welcome.
If you could leave a comment below to say if you're planning to
come that would be helpful. We'll send out details of the top
secret location nearer the time.

I'd love to come along as I'm only 20 mins away and I've just
discovered cyclekarts but I'm already busy that day :'(

HI,
interesting, only that I am over 2 hours away.
I can start another thread, however how do these build meetings
get organised and who by?
I am in Maldon, Essex and looking at the map, there are maybe 6
or so people on the forum in East Anglia.
I have tried contacting some, but only had a reply from one.
I certainly do not know enough and am still looking into the
topic.
Equally I would be interested to hook up with somebody not too
far away if they wanted to share a build and costs?

Last call for anyone coming to the South East builders meet on
Saturday. I've added the names of everyone who has said they're
coming on the first post above.
It's a workshop environment and not heated (other than by the
flare of the gas torch or freshly welded metal), so come
prepared. I'll send a message out on Thurs with the location
and final details - probably using the email address you've
registered on the forum with.
