South West Builders Meeting and Social Evening 2nd August From
12-Midday Middlezoy Aerodrome TA7 0JS.
Hi All, We are planning a South West builders meeting on Friday
2nd August at Middlezoy Aerodrome. The venue offers an exciting
opportunity to bring your Cyclekart to a working vintage
Aerodrome. All are welcome you dont have to be in the South
West!
Home | Middlezoy Aerodrome (mzaero.co.uk)
This will be a members only event and the use of the Aerodrome
is for testing and tuning only, it is not a CKGB club run event
and any driving is at your own risk and not covered by club
insurance.
In addition to being able to talk all things cyclekarts we
intend to have a buffet meal late afternoon in to the evening to
which all attending are asked to contribute As we did for the
WZL Race Day. This will be in or around the vintage themed
nissen hut club room.
If you would like to attend with or without your CK please
indicate your interest by replying to this event post. We are
currently in discussion with the venue but there will be a small
charge per person I will let you know this when its
determined.
Camping The venue can offer camping for the Friday Night at
£10 if you wish to book in please contact Pete Lowell on

Note, entrance to the site is on a blind bend, please be careful
turning in, proceed towards the hangers, be careful as you will
have to cross a live airfield.

All,
Update to the above event - this will now be a static display
event under CKGB / NORA 'Static Event' Insurance. No Driving of
CycleKarts is allowed. But plenty of tea drinking critiquing of
builds and exchanging build stories,
Due to the change of format proceedings will start a little
later 3 to 4pm with buffet food around 6pm
I know several in the SWest plan to attend this meeting, if you
wish to attend and haven let me know please do so ASAP so we can
agree your buffet contribution! Or if you have any questions.
There will be a small charge of £5 to cover the use of the
vintage themed nissen hut / club room - payable on the day.
Looks like a dry day.
