I need your help...Manifold for my new Makuni Carburettor

Hey team, I need your help please.
Following on from Brooklands I only went and bought myself a new
Chinese clone Makuni carburettor didn't I!
Well, after 2 weeks of waiting, it arrived yesterday and it has
the wrong manifold for the GX200. I spent ages looking for the
right one and what they have sent me does match the pictures on
the listing. Its not straight and the inlet is not "D" shaped
       (see pics).
So I've been on the web and I can get the correct one from the
US (takes ages to get here), or from the GX Tuning boys and
       girls (very expensive).
So my question is, does anybody know where I can get the correct
manifold in the UK at a reasonable price?
Thanks in advance, I luv yer all, yer all mi mates!

I have previously used one without the d shape, worked
reasonably well, perhaps not perfect but would get you running.

Hi mate, I use the anodised straight one on mine, available on
amazon and Ebay, I'll have a spare one when my one from China
arrives. Ordered it off Ebay but turned out to be from China so
I ordered one from amazon, be aware though the amazon one didn't
come with any gaskets or bolts, but I used the 2 that came with
my carb, and 2 I found in my spares, but I did have to file the
head of the bolt down to fit the adapter.
Here's a screenshot of the one I ordered on ebay.

I've ordered one from China, I didnt want to because they take
so long to get here and it agro if it's wrong.
Thank you everybody for your input on here and via text...you're
       all legends

Im using one of those straight manifolds to mount a gx240 carb
onto a 200. Requires making an intermediate adaptor plate to get
the float bowl level but should work out a treat. The gx240 carb
cost about 6 or 7 quid on eBay and comes with a fuel mixture
screw, unlike the gx200 ones. Saves messing about with jets and
       emulsion tubes and stuff.

Hi Synthpunk, the "mixture" screw you mentioned only adjusts the
amount of emulsified fuel/air as metered by the pilot jet and
pilot air jet. This fuel circuit is only operating at idle and
light throttle openings. For larger throttle openings it is the
emulsion tube and main jet that provide the majority of the
fuelling. Consequently, you may still have to play about with
       them.

Synthpunk, I use a gx240 carb on my 200 clone and it works well
       straight out of the box.
All i had to do was slot the phenolic spacer and put a dog leg
in the studs that bolt it onto the head.
I used 6mm threaded rod, meshed the threads and welded together
       to give the right offset.

I ended up buying another straight one from China, it arrived
yesterday so it will be fun and games when I get home

I'm suffering the same problem. I've now got 3 90-deg inlet
manifolds from different sources (in spite of ad descriptions
specifically saying for VM22 to GX series engines). The carb
flanges are 90-deg wrong and the engine flange angles 45-deg
down. A straight intake isn't really an option (I would have run
without any kind of air cleaner). I'm looking at cutting each
end of the manifold off (flange plus 1" of pipe) and
substituting a 90-deg bend of cooling hose. Guess the carb would
need some kind of extra support... Waddaya think?
