Middle England. Builders Group. Ideas.
By: Graham Hill Date: April 30, 2024, 6:29 am

I'm happy to lead a group initially to kick things off for us
midlanders. Geographically I don't think this needs to be too
prescriptive! A couple of questions for feedback then:
1. What do new members/builders in the area hope to achieve that
is not covered already by this forum? Is it face to face meet
ups, online meetings, CK meetings with the opportunity to run
(eg Stretton).
2. Those that already have a regional group, what is the most
useful/enjoyable aspect so far.
Thanks.

We get a lot from our SW group, Graham. Very sociable [emoji1],
lots of fun. As well as the Build and test sessions. We do pub
meets and meals , encourage partners/wives. Display at other
local events like Steam Rallies, Car gatherings . All good for
the growth/interest of Cyclekarts in UK

I'd like meet ups at Stretton, or other places to drive, vintage
rally displays would be nice and tend to be very good value,
also a good excuse for a social. And gets the name out there
more.

Hi Graham,
Would like the occaisional mid-week test session on a kart
circuit. Also attend some local shows if theres a dynamic
element to them. Meet ups at a pub or place of interest would
also be good.
