12 JULY - WESTONZOYLAND RACE DAY

This first post of this topic will be updated as and when
information is received or becomes available. If you are
interested in entering, please add a post with the % probability
of entering and I will add your name to the list of entrants
below. This information will help the committee plan the
required resources.
DATE:
12th July.
VENUE:
Westonzoyland Airfield near Bridgwater.
DESCRIPTION:
CKGB race track being set up on a large expanse of concrete at
the edge of the airfield.
CKGB LEAD:
Ian Lang.
Volunteers required for Clerk of Course, deputy Clerk of Course,
Event Secretary, marshals.
EVENT REGULATIONS:
To be issued. The event will run under a NORA permit.
ENTRY FEE & COSTS:
Cost per Cyclekart for the day is £60.00 (£35 to the venue, £25
for First aid cover / NORA), additional drivers are £10.00
(NORA)
Registration must be received by 6pm Sunday 7th July
All entrants are to complete and submit the WZRD entry form
which is available via the following link. The cost and payment
details are given on the entry form:

This event will be one of the CKGB three qualifying rounds into
the 2024 Cyclekart World Championship

WESTONZOYLAND UPDATE
Ian Lang is going to be the event lead for this event.
He will need the support of other members. Volunteers are
required for Clerk of Course, deputy Clerk of Course, Event
Secretary and marshals. The club has a proven procedure for
organising and managing events, and the Events Co-ordinator is
there to assist anyone carrying out these tasks. Training and
experience can also be provided for the various roles at our

All, As Ian F says I have taken on the organising of the WZRD,
If you are interested in attending can you please reply to this
event. A good idea of numbers attending will allow us to set the
event fee, this is due to be discussed at the Malvern Kit Car
Event so if you can kindly respond this week.
I have drafted the Event regs and will post these and the forms
in early June - until then I have attached the proposed program
- this is a race day so plan is to get in three varied events. I
have also attached the track plan for your interest.

UPDATE
I have updated the heading post with some more potential
entrants.
I have also added it will be one of the three CKGB qualifying
rounds for the Cyclekarts World Championship.

event regulations is the google form accessed using the link
previousely posted.
