Carb and exhaust recommendations

So. After 2 and a half years and 2 new small people getting
underfoot I’ve finally got a running cyclekart.
Hooray!!
The engine is a box stock Lifan 212, wot the Americans know as a
non Hemi Predator 212. It is quite boring.
This next weekend I’m going to remove the governor, and see what
that does. The change the springs positions on the TAV and see
what that does. After that I’m going to replace the exhaust,
then the carb.
Can someone point me in the direction of what I need to buy and
maybe from where? Ive got a budget of a hundred quid left. If
possible I’d like the exhaust to come out and then go straight
to the rear. Or to the rear and then down. Either works. I’d
like it if it didn’t break noise regs.
Tanks In Advance!
Rich

While you are in there removing the governor, fit 18lb valve
springs, it will help stop valve float at the higher rpm's.

Ive also been talking to the cyclekart Sensai this evening and
this has as usual been extremely illuminating. Long story short-
schoolboy error; I confused the number 70 for 60. I bought a 60t
sprocket because it was all that was available in lockdown, and
for some reason I subsequently thought it was a 70 and based all
my assumptions on that. I finally recounted it a couple months
ago; I was a bit worried this might happen. I have a 10t driven
sprocket, so the 6:1 ratio is a bit steep. It results in a slow
ride.
I’ve bought a 9t sprocket, which takes the ratio to 6.66 to 1.
If nothing else, Iron Maiden should be pleased. \m/
So I’ve spent 16 pounds so far. 84 pounds left to spend…..

You can go as low as 8t on the TAV 30 ...
