Can I suggest the Club issues a registration plate (which could
be attached to the chassis) showing the "registration" number
issued by/recorded by the Club? Maybe also record the
registration (or build) date and the make/model of the
inspiration car? No more than that though otherwise the plate
could become too big. Racing numbers could also be recorded on
the Club data base but it would resolve any rush to "baggsie" a
racing number.
Simple custom made plates with blank spaces for stamping the
data can be obtained from many sources eg
