       Nickelodeon Debuts Nick iPad App for Kids
       If your kids just can't get enough Nickelodeon in their lives, a
       new iPad app will keep the fun going all the time, wherever you
       go, all witha swipe-friendly user interface and more than 1,000
       bits of content.
       Nickelodeon announced the debut of a free app for the iPad
       called Nick, which promises "a branded experience that allows
       kids to interact with Nick in unprecedented ways."
       Featuring a moveable tilelayout that can be swipedin any
       direction, Nick offers kids plenty of discovery and exploration
       as well as instant and on-demand access to more than 1,000
       pieces of Nickelodeon-branded content -- short-form videos of
       original skits, sketch and comedic bits, behind-the-scenes clips
       and videos and much more.
       For cable or satellite subscribers, the Nick app also features
       TV Everywhere authentication with access to full-length episodes
       of your favorite Nickelodeon shows from anywhere in the United
       States where a high-speed internet connection is available.
       "The Nick App creates a new platform unlike anything else
       available tokids today," said Steve Youngwood, EVP and General
       Manager, Digital,Nickelodeon Group. "The Nick App is the one
       place where kids can watch andplay Nickelodeon and experience
       the complete fun and funny of our brand, wherever and whenever
       they want."
       The ad-supported iPad app also includes HTML5 games with a new
       one offered each week, musicand remixes for your favorite Nick
       characters and On the Road with BTR, a "docu-reality" series
       that goes behind the scenes of Big Time Rush.
       Nick is available now as a45MB download for all iPads running
       iOS 5.0 or later, and the press release teases that a version
       for the iPhone/iPod touch could be available later down the road
       as well.
