       RandomX Monero update effect

       On the end of last month, there had been an introduction of
       RandomX algorithm, shifting the mining pool from ASIC to
       proof-of-work.
       Effect? because you can use a regular CPU of your own computer,
       not dedicated ASIC mining rig (which is most commonly used by
       companies on the mining farms) - its hashrate went up by 180% in
       matter of just few days. As well, thanks to that, there is way
       more decentralization of its mining pool and blockchain.
       Is this the right direction of development, which should be
       followed by other cryptos?
