So, I am pretty heavy into XRP after having it recommended to
me. I would like to hear other views / opinions on where it is
headed.

I personally am a big supporter of Ripple as a company and the
different technology products they keep rolling out and XRP as
its Cryptocurrency of choice.
The partnerships with financial institutions and banks can't go
unnoticed.
It's a company that sure as hell knows what it's doing and it's
not for no reasons as it's currently ranked No. 3 on the charts
right after BTC and ETH.
I see XRP as a long term investment coin. It's a coin that
should be Hodled for at least 5 years in order to see some good
returns on it.
Very simple way to think about the potential of XRP and its
cross border payments utility is this:
If one Bitcoin (BTC) goes back to its ATH of USD 18 k you would
have USD 18 k if 33,730 Ripple XRP (current conversion of 1 BTC)
goes back to its All Time High of USD 3.84 you would have USD
130 k.
And an XRP ATH of USD 3.84 is a pretty pessimistic figure taking
into consideration the development of this coin and Partnerships
being forged as we speak.
Now it's the perfect time to buy since it's still dirty cheap if
you ask me especially with the current market decline of Crypto
prices all across the board.

Thx for reply, I am hearing similar responses from everyone I
speak to. I recently have purchased even more with its plummet
this past week. Tell me what you think about Tron and also what
others do you feel would be good long term investments ?

You are most welcome. This is a crypto forum this is exactly
what we are all expected to do, discuss Crypto and help each
others!
You have done the right thing by buying the dip!
As for Tron (TRX), it seems the team and community behind it are
showcasing the strength and prowess of the Tron Dapp ecosystem
by gaining great traction.
Justin Sun is doing his very best to make of Tron the go to
smart contracts and decentralized applications platform of
choice however it does seem to me that the price of the coin is
quite correlated to Justin Sun announcements and tweets, now
while the crypto market is speculative in nature it does need to
dissociate itself a bit from the hype and associate itself more
with the technology and utility of the product. I would say
invest moderately in TRX it's dirty cheap and does have
potential for big growth however diversify your portfolio into
other coins of course.
My other coin that is personally one of my all time favorites,
is Cardano (ADA). It's like the whole academia and scientific
world has got together to develop that one. The technology and
team are flawless and they are working truly hard to get it
where it should be. It's still an immature product at early
stages but there's noticeable progress as they keep rolling out
new features and updates. The founder was the co-founder of
Ethereum, so he realizes very well where ETH lacks and working
hard on closing that loophole in ADA.
They are working on a truly next generation crypto project that
is so ambitious and their smart contract platform is truly set
to amaze and impress.
I highly recommend Cardano. If you have any questions please
don't hesitate to ask.

XRP is often referred to as "banks cryptocurrency", as it is not
decentralized the way majority of cryptocurrencies is. Its
general gold as intended by the Ripple Labs was to create a true
currency to provide almost instant and free transfers of funds.
Does it meet such goals? Definitely!
Is it a good investment? This is a matter for discussion. But
anyway, none of the cryptocurrencies was intended as a store of
value in the first place - not even the most known store of
value crypto - Bitcoin.
Anyway, at this moment it is traded at ~$0,23 while its all-time
high from 2018 was 12 times higher ($2,78).
