       Hello and welcome to Cosplay Alaska!
       These are the rules for the forums. Make sure that you read and
       understand them.
       Forum Etiquette:
       - Flaming, harassment, and offensive (insulting) comments are
       not tolerated on this forum.  Accounts made simply for the
       purpose of trolling will be banned on the spot, and users found
       to make 'anonymous' accounts in order to flame or troll will
       receive a ban on the troll account as well as the user's regular
       account.
       - Avoid publicly fighting with other users or inciting drama on
       the forums. Debates must be conducted in a civil manner.
       Debating is a privilege, and if it gets out of hand, that
       privilege will be taken away. If you are having a problem with
       someone, talk to them through e-mail, PM, or instant messenger.
       - We have a large diversity of users on the forum from all walks
       of life. Please show respect and sensitivity when discussing
       topics which may offend others. In addition, we ask that you not
       bring up the subject of rape in a light or joking. Racial,
       cultural, and personal insults will not be tolerated and could
       result in a warning or ban.
       - In such a large community, we will naturally have
       disagreements on decisions made at the forums or the meetings.
       If something on the forum bothers you then please let the admin
       and moderators know so that we can help sort things out!
       Posting & Prohibit Positing:
       - Please try to keep your posts at a PG-13 level. In addition,
       some people may be surfing the forums in front of a parent or
       teacher. Do not post pornographic pictures or graphic
       descriptions. Regular images are okay, but if it shows
       inappropriate body parts or gestures (middle finger, stripping,
       etc.), then do not post it. If you are not sure if your image
       breaks the rules, ask an admin or moderator. Most profanity has
       automatic word filters, but please refrain from posting images
       or using icons that contain vulgar language.
       - Don't spam, and try to stick to the topic to which the thread
       was originally intended for. If you're going to revive a really
       old thread, make sure you have something useful to add. Edit
       your original posts instead of triple/quadruple posting. Do not
       post simply to increase your post.
       - Keep two-way conversations to a minimum. Back and forth a few
       times is understandable, but if it's getting to a page of
       conversation between you and another person that does not
       concern anyone else on the board, it's time to PM each other. If
       a topic has several posts such as this then those post may be
       deleted in order to keep the thread relevant, however if the
       whole thread is just a two way conversation then it may be
       deleted all together. Using the boards as an instant messenger
       service slows them down and spams up otherwise relevant threads.
       - Please do not openly discuss illegal activity on this forum or
       link to torrents/direct downloads of software, movies, or anime.
       Trailers, clips and fan productions such as AMVs are fine. This
       is to prevent legal action against the forums, Cosplay Alaska
       and its affiliates.
       Signatures:
       - Keep signature images within the following guidelines: Width
       no more than 500 pixels and height no more than 200 pixels.
       Using your signature or profile to link to casino, XXX or
       malware sites will result in your signature being replaced with
       a warning. If we send you multiple PMs asking you to re-size
       your signature and you blatantly ignore it, your option to have
       a signature may be disabled. Please use common sense when
       choosing a signature - don't have large swear words,
       inappropriate images, or seizure-inducing .gifs that hurt
       people's eyes just trying to read your post. Forum moderation
       staff has final say on whether a signature is acceptable.
       Disputing a Warning:
       - If you feel that an action has been taken against you
       unfairly, discuss it calmly and privately with an administrator
       or moderator. Yelling, swearing and/or threatening us because
       your thread was locked or moved will result in a formal warning.
       Remember that forum staff must do their job regardless of
       whether they are friends with someone outside of the forum. If
       we give you a warning, it doesn't necessarily mean that we don't
       like you, but that we must enforce the rules the same way for
       every person on the board. Please understand that we hold
       everyone to the same rules.
