This is all your fault!

Heavily restrained, the duo of Bartholomew and Verina find
themselves on a transport to the last place anyone would ever
want to go, Granabald. The crimson bodyguard rests as
comfortably as one could in his situation, eyes closed with a
slight smile on his face. His traveling companion, however,
would have none it. She was unhappy and made sure he knew it as
well. Her exaggerated sighs and excessive pouting wasn't getting
the point across. As best she could, she began to kick at him,
the end result being his pants leg barely being grazed.
What's wrong Verina? You seem upset.
Oh har-dee-friggin-har! What's wrong with you?! Why did you let
them catch us!? You even let that guy violate my delicate body!
Now I'll never find a husband! My innocence is lost!
Even with his eyes still closed, it was obvious that Bartholomew
was rolling them at this point, which resulted in another light
beating for his pants leg. With his own exaggerated sigh, he
responded.
That is true. Well, not the innocence thing.
That's been gone. What did that guy give you anyway?
One of those old telecommunication things. I don't think it's
even holo.
You still have it?
Of course! I have to see him again!
For a moment, there was a pleasant smile on her face. Her eyes
were closed as she smiled thoughtfully. It seemed as if the
mystery man made quite the impression on-
So I can bash his face in and teach him to value a woman's
intimates!
The sudden dark aura couldn't have just been his imagination. A
chill crept down his spine and, for Severin's sake, he hoped
they never crossed paths again.

The odd pair was dropped off in the middle of a crowded jungle
area. Bartholomew was able to catch notice of a makeshift town
in a clearing as they hovered. The was a suspiciously large, yet
untouched lake in the opposite direction of the town. The lake
was only approachable from one side as the rest was enclosed by
a small mountain range. He was jarred from his thoughts by
Verina, poking her finger in the center of his forehead with a
very annoyed expression.
So what now? You know I'm too pretty to be in prison right?
With a heavy, audible sigh, Bartholomew began to explain his
hatched plot.
We have a tail and need to get rid of it.
They knew where we were, all of them did. So they'll know we've
been arrested and sent here. For our combined charges, there was
nowhere else to go. They know we're here. So we'll become a
bit... infamous while we're here. Then get off the planet
somehow.
You make it seem like people just walk off. The planet is
heavily guarded. They have an armed embargo, with gravity
scramblers. Without the two separate access codes, you'll get
stalled and blown out of the sky, or slammed back down to the
planet in a burst of flames.
Heh... yeah... Should be fun. Let's find
somewhere to hole up. That is, unless you wanna roam this place
without me?
With that, Bartholomew proceeded towards the lake, with a very
timid Verina following.

The phone that Severin slipped into Verina's rump back on Tribya
began to vibrate.

Deep within the cave that had become a makeshift home, albeit
temporary, Verina jumps in surprise as she pulls out the buzzing
phone.
This guy...
Oh wow... It works here?
Bartholomew holds his hand out with a determined stare. Knowing
this wasn't the time, Verina gingerly handed it over. The knight
answers the phone as if talking to an old friend.
Heya buddy! Thanks for letting me borrow
those. It worked out great. Side note... how did you get your
hands on something without holo-tech that works cross-planet?
It's quite the marvel.

"I didn't get my hands on it, these hands made it! Pretty nifty
eh? I only included audio just so the signal could be boosted
farther. Soooo, I was wondering. How did it go with those
security forces back on Tribya? Did they ask any questions about
me? How about your friend? She safe as well?"

Bartholomew whistles sharply at the declaration that the mystery
man had created the device himself.
Questions about you? Well, noooot really. I
only left your "friends" round long enough for back up to
arrive. Then I had to pay my way into Granabald. Everyone knows
that the best currency for that is blood. We were already on
their list. So we got a discount!
Bartholomew paused for a second then glanced towards the pouting
Verina.
And I'm pretty sure Verina wants to kill you
now. Something about never being able to marry...
As if it was her cue, the fiery Verina let her thoughts be
known.
You damn right I am! And you! What's with acting like you're all
buddy buddy? You should be defending my honor!
Yeah... so that's going on. Other than that,
good times.

"So you wanted to get onto Granabald... okay then. I don't think
I've met anyone who would want to be on that planet, but I guess
what ever floats your boat."
Severin's chuckling could be heard over the phone.
"Tell her that I couldn't resist that long slender back. Her
tight little buttocks just called out to me, so I had to give it
a way to communicate!"
More laughter could be heard, this time louder.
"Ya, good times. If you ever need a way off that planet, let me
know. I might have a job lined up for you if it's sooner rather
than later if you're interested."

Allowing the obviously eavesdropping Verina to "overhear" the
conversation, savoring the moments someone was able to genuinely
frustrate her.
I might take you up on that buddy. I hadn't
really thought of how to get off of this rock after getting on.
Just needed to shake a few tails. Like you said, nobody ever
wants to come here. So I figure, make it known that we're here,
then find a way to disappear from here. Should give some
breathing room, right?

"Alright, that makes more sense. Do you have any idea on how you
are going to grab so much attention? I could take a look into
the authority's systems see who is on the watch list. I'm sure
there are also some kind of cities made my the other
inhabitants. Sure they're criminals, but they aren't savages. At
least most of them that is. Oh ya! The job would include killing
people, but by the sounds of it you have no qualms with that."

I'm hurt. You make me seem like some cold
blooded killer! I'm not that kinda lady!
After a slight chuckle at his own, sad joke, Bartholomew's tone
became serious as he continued.
But I prefer to not end lives unless the end
justifies the means. What's your plan?
