Battlefield through the ages

Although I was a COD gamer, I've always been interested in BF.
Since playing bad company 2, it has always appealed to me,
although I haven't spent much time playing it. Battlefield 3 was
a huge hit with me, and factos that COD didn't offer, such as
interactive and large scale maps, more players, realistic
graphics and physics, all showed that battlefield is the future
of realistic FPS games. I have yet to try BF4, but after
watching the multiplayer preview trailer ages ago, I really want
to. After upgrading my PC at Christmas, I :)think ill buy it and
see what its like. what do you guys think about Battlefield?

If you want an fps like COD but want to avoid screaming 13 year
olds and spawn camping then Battlefield is the way to go. Much
larger maps, more players on each team and generally a more
serious shooter :D

Infinity Ward's failed attempt at copying Battlefield (Ghosts)
by trying to create interactive maps. From what i've heard, it's
only active in one map, and its shit. Battlefield lets you take
out skyscrapers, flood maps, destroy bridges and mangle roads.
Can't wait to try BF4 :)

Battlefield is a sick gaming series, but bad company 2 was the
best. Since then it's slowly turned into COD... BC2 required
snipers to stay in woodland, and there was loads of open areas
for them to pick off targets that ran through. Now it's all
enclosed space, with not many sniping spots. Don't get me wrong,
i still love this game, but it's changed a lot. Have yet to try
BF4, so hopefully that will restore my hope in Battlefield :D

BF4 looks good, but BC2 was the best :3 By far, because it
wasn't just run in shoot and get out, it was stratery

So true! I also really love BF's game modes, there's so much
variety, and people actually play the objective ;D

objective

Plus BF has vehicles, which is probably why quite a few people
play it. Tanks, Jeeps, Planes, Helicopters, Quads, it just makes
it 10x better :D
