       Sausage Alfredo

       SAUSAGE ALFREDO
       1 pkg Hillshire Smoked Sausage, sliced anyway ypu want
       8 oz. pasta, cooked and drained  (I used spiral, but any kind
       will do)
       2 cups heavy cream ( I used Half & Half)
       1-2 tsp. Cajun seasoning (depending how spicy you like)
       1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
       Prepare pasta and set aside.
       Saute sausage for about 5 minutes.  Add cream and seasoning,
       bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until
       mixture begins to thicken. Stir in Parmesan.  Add pasta and
       toss.  Add any other ingredients you want and simmer.  (I have
       added peas and grape tomatoes cut in half).
       NOTE:  If the mixture is still too thin after adding the pasta,
       just let it simmer for a few minutes and it will thicken up.
       This recipe makes a LOT, but it can be cut in half
       successfully.
