       Aunt Doris' Pecan Pie

       1 stick margarine
       1 c. sugar
       1 c. light Karo syrup
       3 eggs, beaten
       1 c. chopped pecans
       1 (9-in.) pie shell, unbaked
       Preheat oven to 350 deg. In saucepan, melt margarine, but do not
       brown. Mix in sugar and syrup; stir until sugar dissolves.
       Remove from heat and stir in eggs; mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour
       into pie shell and bake 1 hour.
