CROCKPOT CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in small chunks
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup onion, finely diced
2 cups of water
1 chicken bouillon cube
2 10 oz. pkg. refrigerated biscuits
Combine all ingredient, except biscuits, in slow cooker. Cover
and cook on low 5-6 hours. 30 minutes before serving, tear
biscuit dough into 1" pieces (our cut in fourths). Add to your
slow cooker, stirring gently. Cover and cook on HIGH for an
additional 30 minutes or until biscuits are fluffed up and
cooked through.
This recipe can easily be cut in half and it makes plenty!

This is our dear Moos recipe from the old board. I have a
friend that makes a similar recipe and calls hers Chicken and
dumpling soup. She adds frozen mixed veggies and chicken stock.
It makes very good pot of soup and can be prepared in a soup
pot on the stove. Leftovers of this are great. The canned
bisquits when I make the soup version are cut in quarters and
gently rolled into balls. They do puff up some.
