       Blondies from old board

       Blondies
       2/3 c. butter, softened
       2 c. light brown sugar, packed
       2 eggs
       2 tsp. vanilla
       2 c. flour
       1 tsp. baking powder
       1 tsp. salt
       1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
       1 c. chopped walnuts
       Preheat oven to 350 deg. Spray a 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray.
       Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
       Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into egg mixture.
       Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. (Batter will be stiff). Pour
       into pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes, until toothpick inserted in
       middle has moist crumbs. Let cool and cut into squares. Serves
       24.
