Your patient has sustained a fractured pelvis and has VS of BP
88/52, P = 122 What is the best treatment for this patient?

Immobilize the patient, here is where MAST would be useful if
available (they would provide immobilization and would help to
treat for shock). Apply oxygen, treat for shock, and request ALS
       response if not already dispatched.
If travel time to ER is less than ALS travel time transport
without delay monitoring vital signs every 5 minutes.

Immobilize patient using mast pants if available. give o2,keep
patient warm & as comfortable as possible. This is a load and go
patient. If there's a time delay or your distance to the
hospital is great then call for an als rig. they can meet you in
       transit.

Must agree mast pants are the best, high concentration o2, treat
for shock, and ALS would be great if it doesn't delay patient
       transport to facility.

i would immobilize the pt. the best i can on a long spine board
. give the pt. o2 via nrb since the blood pressure is kind of
low i would elevate the foot of the board .

immobilize via longboard with MAST if available since patient BP
is under 90 systolic with unstable pelvis. foot of backboard can
also be elevated if possible. immediate transport and notify ALS
       if possible

I posted this question in Shock also,
How will you stabilize the fractured pelvis if you do not use
MAST pants? Will a long board alone stabilize the pelvis?

A long board alone does not offer maximal stabilization. I
would use sheets/blankets to stabilize the pelvis before moving
the patient to the long board. Padding the voids afterwards
would also make the patient more comfortable.
