       MAST..are they still used in this region?  Does your department
       carry them on rescue or ambulance?

       no   i dont believe they are   the ufd hasnt had them in 10-15
       years

       yes there are they are in the protocol book

       Yes - the use of MAST is described in the NYS BLS protocols (in
       "hypoperfusion" under special considerations as well as "medical
       anti-shock trousers" under SEMAC advisories and bureau of EMS
       policies).

       yes they are still used, but its up to the agency to carry them
       or not. UFD does not carry them.

       MAST are still in the NYS protocol but are no longer required
       equipment. Thier use and effectiveness are very limited, and due
       to the many contraintacations are no longer supported in local
       protocols.
       Utica FD removed them when the local protocol change occured.

       yes we still use them, at COCVAC they are under the long bench
       seat and on the Deerfield rescue they are on the left hand side
       compartment in the back i do believe.
