What are you asking us for? How we would treat and transport the
patient?

I would ask besides the cough, have the other symptons been also
going on for 5 days. I would also ask if they called their
doctor

I would ask for medical history. If she has any other medical
conditions, to see if she has asthma or any other respiratory
condition. I would also ask if the condition has started to
improve or has gotten worse since it started 5 days ago. I would
also ask if she is on any medication and if she has been to her
Dr.

How long has fever been present, any over the counter/herbal
meds taken? Medical history should be taken. Any color to
sputum when coughing? Any pain/pressure in ears also?

did not call doctor, self medicating with Mucinex some left over
antibotic pills. Sputum is green, no ear pain, nose running all
the time...
What do you think is going on here?

Sounds like a chest and nasal cold with congestion. Mucinex is
for chest congestion from what I have seen and the sputum would
match that.

since there is a slight fever im gonna say there is a good
chance there is a respiratory infection going on. the leftover
antibiotics if anything are gonna make things worse when the pt.
finally sees a doctor. it sounds like the mucinex might be
keeping things clear breathing wise for now.

start with a SAMPLE history, symptoms that are given already
sound almost like the common flu due to the fever & overall phys
weakness an/or an upper respiratory due to the productive cough.

I would complete a full medical history, using sample. Take
vital signs also. It seems like a respiratory infection at this
point.
