The 5 Most Important Things in Constantine's Life
-Constantine’s rise to power as the Western Emperor after the
civil war against Maximian.
-Constantine murders his son for sleeping with his stepmom.
-Constantine legalizes Christianity in 313, issuing the Edict of
Milan.
-After this triumph over Licinius and taking control of the
whole empire, Constantine founded the city of Constantinople on
the site of Byzantium.
-Constantine also met with church officials to the Council of
Nicaea in 325, and made the Nicene Creed, which affirmed that
Jesus was a divine being.

Although the city that Constantine founded is great, it does not
follow the Christian God as Constantine says he does,“ I have
often wondered why, since the city of Byzantium has grown so
great that no other surpasses it in prosperity or size, no
divine prophecy was given by our predecessors concerning its
progress and destiny.” (46, Christianity and the imperial life).
Instead it seems to be a range of multiple gods for each aspect
Constantine needs divine help in, and that is blasphemous.

That is not true, Constantine has been blessed by our God, that
is why he was able to make such a huge empire, “Constantine the
holy man is, like Moses, the prophets, and the apostles, a
divinely guided figure” (Ch.11, Life of Constantine). God has
chosen him to lead us into a great new era.

You call him a great conqueror, but, “Being thus at peace, he
devoted his life to pleasure. He distributed a daily grain
ration to the people of Byzantium, which they continue to
receive to this day.”(45, Zosimus the New History). He could
have continued the spread of his country, instead he decided to
retire.

That just shows how kind he is. He didn't want to put his people
in risk by conquering larger areas, and even when he retired he
continued to help his country,“In my book, Life of Constantine,
which shows the relations between Constantine's upright
character and the economic, military, and political
revitalization of the empire, the triumph of Christianity, is a
part of Constantine's own religious awakening.” (Text 2 The
Death of Persecutors.). Constantine demonstrates qualities of a
true Christian, by continuing to help his country even after
retiring.

The fact that he killed his own shows how bad of a guy he is.

The reason he killed his own son was because he was sleeping
with his own stepmother. He committed great sin, and although
the punishment was harsh, it was just.

Constantine wasn't a true Christian. He still prayed to other
gods for protection, and he mostly said he was Christian in
order to gain popularity from the Christian population.

You say he is not a true Christian, but he legalized
Christianity in 313, stopping the persecution and unjust murder
of fellow Christians.
