But all news has bias.
This topic is certainly news. A young boy from Australia was
supposedly involved in a suicide bombing for a terrorist group.
His death has not been confirmed and it has sparked changes in
who passports are given out to in Australia.
Yes, Tux will be biased, but it is still news. I perceived it as
Tux wanted to understand how outsiders would view this topic.
Tux, I am unable to have empathy for something that is so
disconnected from me. So I cannot answer your question. I can
state, however, that some of Jake's died ignorance. He talked
about how the media pollutes the minds of many, which is true,
but he could not see that ISIL was making him ignorant in many
respects and doing the same as the media does to many.

Of course news has bias. Otherwise all news would be as dull as
watching five David Attenborough documentaries in a row.

As to your question Tux, I have no idea. News of any sort
doesn't affect me, nothing does really. When my grandfather died
a few years ago, I hardly felt sad at all, and thus I am not in
a position to tell you what I think other people would feel in
an event like this, as I have nothing to base an opinion on.
Perhaps I personally would be slightly surprised that someone I
knew of had done something like this, but nothing in the way of
feelings further than skin deep.
