{RPG} The Lost World ~ [VT]

The world will never be the same.
What happened that makes me live this way? Children ask their
parents as their parents revel in memories of the past, darkness
lurking in the air and bodies, decomposing, hanging from the
moss-covered lampposts.
War. War happened, would be their parent's response, as their
parents usher them into ally-ways and caverns, hidden from
mutants, from wildlife. Or from God Forbid, the worst case
scenario another human.
The year is 2589. Nuclear war has torn the Earth apart and
desolated its landscape, leaving it a barren wasteland. In some
areas, like the American Desert, factions grew to take land,
which constantly battle for supremacy. Other less lucky areas,
like the bamboo forests of China or the golden plains which
stretch for thousands of miles in Africa are less lucky. Dotted
with survivors of the aftermath of the great fall of the human
race, these lands are dangerous and completely hostile.
Until Barbas Nockgroder, a decsendant of South African
merchants, begins to tame ferocious, carnivorous wildlife in the
golden plains of Africa, and begins to grow armies of survivors,
with the promise of untold food and riches. It is so easy to
succumb to Barbas' words because of the lack of food otherwise.
Barbas' plans are to make the population of the world his army
of slaves.
It is quite soon that people begin to take notice of Barbas'
rapid occupation of Africa. And it is just as soon as survivors
start to get together to bring down Barbas' army. Then, war is
once again brought to the humans.
Over the sun-scorched radiation-filled black lands of Saudi
Arabia, the rebellious Torres Principality marched forth to stop
Barbas' expansion into Asia. And just as swiftly as the Torres'
rise... came their fall.
It is now up to YOU, the PLAYER, to unite the armies of American
governments and to unlock the power the humans had before the
apocalypse and direct it to the Torres Principality, so you can
bring down the tyranny of Barbas Nockgroder!

I shall be at the head of a small rebel force, who use guerrilla
warfare tactics. Rebellion!
