Chronicles of Maraijanahach – Bloodlust

The land of Maraijanahach is in constant turmoil. This time, the
vampires are clashing against the vampire hunters. Join the
ranks of either the vampires or the vampire hunters and fight
for, or against humanity. Create a character and fight with
others in another one of the many struggles between the midnight
beasts and the humans of Maraijanahach.
3066PCE (Pre-Celestial Era), the Vampire Hunters Association and
the Werewolf Hunters Union have been hunting their respective
prey for many millenniums now. However, now, with new invention
of gunpowder, brought about by the Asher Alliance (The human
population residing in Andras and Snake), hunters are now
deadlier than ever; able to incorporate the very latest fuse
bombs.
At the same time, strong leadership has the vampires and the
werewolves create the vampire-werewolf pact. The pact allows
both vampires and werewolves to actively support each other in
time of need. The Wyrepires have yet to be in a major conflict
for years and it’s legions of well-seasoned bat-winged
werewolves are combat ready. However, they have chosen not to be
involved in the conflict. Instead, the Wyrepire Bloodhold has
sent out operatives and delegates to monitor the war.
The creatures of midnight have always been at odds with the
humans and tension has been mounting since the ancient times.
However, due to recent attacks on the local area conducted by
the vampires, the Asher Alliance has posed a bounty on vampires
and werewolves. This naturally put the hunters into a hunting
frenzy and eventually, the events spiralled into an undeclared
war between the creatures of midnight and mankind.
The Blood Hunters, caught in the middle of all this, are in the
worst possible position; allies to both the vampires hunters and
the werewolf hunters but also trade partners with the creature
of midnight. As a result, the blood hunters guild has decided to
take a more neutral stance. However, the undead seems to have
also taken a fair amount of interest of the ongoing war and the
blood hunters have been rallied to protect the people from the
skeletons of the southern Andras.

About the Blood Hunters

volley of techniques and tools that could overpower even the

A blood hunter’s duty is to harvest a quota of blood as
efficiently, economically and sustainably as possible. Every
kill made by a blood hunter must be justifiable and every
kill’s blood must be bottled and delivered back to the
Guild. The harvested blood is then traded off to the vampires,
werewolves and wyrepires so that they will not need to feed off
living humans. Occasionally, blood hunters will hunt down
creatures of midnight that have gone rouge.
Blood hunters have knowledge as to the quality of each type of
blood, with human blood being the most valued, followed closely
by vampire blood, werewolf blood and wyrepire blood. Once or
Twice per year, blood hunters will gather small amounts of blood
from willing donors to ensure that the creatures of midnight
still have human blood to taste. If the month’s quota is
not filled sufficiently, willing blood hunters may draw and
bottle some of their own blood. A blood hunter’s
occupation is vital in ensuring the safety of others from
falling prey to the creatures of midnight.
About the Time-Period and Technologies:
This is before the invention of the firearm so all we have in
the form of gunpowder weapons are bombs and cannons which are
used by the dwarves and kolbolds. The vampire hunters place
heavy emphasis on swords whereas the werewolf hunters favour
polearms.
