That wouldn't reflect Australian creativity...
BTW: I sang the National anthem for the first time in two years
yesterday.

They have their own flag. ::)

I'm quite happy about the current Australian flag...

As am I.
Why do you all want a new flag anyway?
Because of the Jack. "It's not truly representative of our
nation," as many people from Australia and New Zealand like to
say.

Just replace the union jack with the aboriginal flag...
The rights to the flag are held by an individual, so it's not
possible to just throw the Aboriginal flag on top like that.
It is also a matter of equality, because the canton of a flag —
that is, the top left corner — is the position of honour and
superiority. Replacing the Jack with the Aboriginal flag would
solve nothing, for it would only replace the supposed
"superiority" of the British people with that of the Australian
Aboriginal populace.
Besides, have you seen how such a flag actually appears?
HTML https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/archive/3/36/20130324013533!Australian_Flag_with_Aboriginal_Flag.svg<br
/>I'd prefer the old Libyan flag to that.

...for it is known that the Ameristralian flag
HTML http://i.imgur.com/UcyjMc1.jpg
is superior to both.
Even the current Australian flag is superior to that disgrace.
There is no preset "replacement flag." If we were to hold a
referendum on the subject, I would assume that it would be
similar to New Zealand's, by way of eliminating flags until we
have a new flag against the current flag in a final vote.
Yes, it is. That flag breaks many rules of tincture, and the
stars over the blue-red stripes are unspeakably wrong.

What's wrong with the old Libyan flag?
But there should be ideas. People will stop listening to you
talk about a problem if you can't offer up a solution for it.
Saying "new flag" isn't enough of a solution.

In my opinion, a plain green flag does not instil many feelings
of national pride.
There are ideas. Hundreds of theoretical new flags have been put
forward, but the government takes no stance on any of them. The
flag debate is not as active as it is in New Zealand.

Is there a place where I can see them?

Aha. In that case, "the old new Libyan flag" does not instil
great feelings of patriotism.
Yes. There is a Wikipedia page containing a list of proposed
flags here
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_proposed_Australian_flags,<br
/>while this
HTML http://www.ausflag.com.au
is the website of an organisation
dedicated to bringing in a new Australian flag. Of course, there
are other designs strewn about the internet, but those are the
two with flags in greater numbers.
