So, what is the Asterisk Area? Well, to put it simply, the
Asterisk Area is the place for all Asterisk-Style roleplay
threads, from the Kingdom of Kinghood to the Second Court of
Logic – loose threads, strict threads – if roleplaying is done
with asterisks, then it goes here.
I decided to create it because there were so many Asterisk-Style
roleplay threads. Really, you guys are going overboard. Rule IV
addresses that, but, for now, this is the place where all of
your Asterisk-Style roleplay threads go. It may go well, or it
may not. We'll see!
Of course, there need to be a few rules. All normal board rules
apply, as do the rules for the main Roleplaying & Scenarios
board; it goes without saying. But, there are a few unique
guidelines to follow.
I. Asterisks Only. If you're going to roleplay third, second or
first person, then it's going in the main Roleplaying board,
Roleplaying & Scenarios. It only comes here if you're indicating
actions with asterisks.
II. No Spam. Part of the reason the Asterisk Area was created
was to stop spam posts. Wait a couple of minutes before replying
to another post; asterisk roleplaying is quicker than
Story-Style, but, please, don't go overboard.
III.Post Length. All posts must be at least four lines long.
This is also to prevent spam, and pointless one-liners.
IV. No New Threads! This is part of the cull, and it's
important. Any new thread created without clearance will be
denied. I hope this is understood, because I won't be happy if
we're getting thread requests left and right.
That's everything! You were expecting a really long list,
weren't you? Well, rules will be added as problems crop up, but,
for now, those are the four main rules unique to this
sub-section.
Oh, and for those who don't know what Asterisk-Style roleplaying
is . . .
*Cyclone made the thread*
Yes, I did. I hope you understand.
There's an example for you.
So, again, happy roleplaying!
