General Questions
By: Neamhain Blackmailer Date: October 19, 2015, 6:25 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
If you have a question that is directly related to Inrazimad,
please post it here
HTML http://confederationofinrazimad.createaforum.com/questions-queries/questions/<br
/>(if it is a quick and simple question) or make a thread here
HTML http://confederationofinrazimad.createaforum.com/questions-queries/<br
/>(if you believe it requires an in-depth discussion).
[hr]
I have always noticed how, with most of us being curious
intellectuals (or something close to it), random comments can
spark an interest in a new topic. I remember a time when my
great grandmother, Sarah, asked me about why sophomores are
called 'sophomores'. I had the information, so I answered her.
Sometimes, when questions pop up in someone's mind, it might not
exactly be the appropriate time for someone to ask said
question. For instance, if someone is mentioning a video game
that has Celtic people in it on a thread about video games, it
would be inappropriate to ask, "Why do the Celts battle without
clothes on?" It is irrelevant and will serve to only derail the
thread.
So, in order to mollify our thirst for knowledge without
derailing a thread, I made a suggestion a while back that
someone should make a thread like this. My suggestion had
immediate approval from some community members. Unfortunately, I
never had the time and the mind to do it myself, and, obviously,
no one else made it, so this thread is just now surfacing.
Use this thread to ask your questions whenever you can find no
other place for them. If you have a question about guns, you
probably should not post it here. It would be preferable to post
it in a thread that already deals with guns, like the Guns,
Machetes, Knives, And So Forth
HTML http://confederationofinrazimad.createaforum.com/general-discussion/guns-machetes-knives-and-so-forth/<br
/>thread. Please try to only post a question here if it has no
other home.
Hopefully, this thread will help to cut down on the derailment
of threads while enriching our minds.
Sure, we could all just do some research, but sometimes it is
better to show your ignorance and give someone else the joy of
enlightening you.

This is a good idea! I don't know whether it's a good thing or a
bad thing to ask the first question, but:
Does anybody know anything about 'shooting stars' as we call
them? What causes a star to do such a thing?

I believe a 'shooting star' is just a meteor. As a meteoroid
burns up in the Earth's atmosphere, it leaves behind a streak
and becomes a meteor.
My question: What is Reddit?

Reddit is an entertainment, social networking, and news website
where registered community members can submit content, such as
text posts or direct links, making it essentially an online
bulletin board system.
I got that from Wikipedia. Basically anything and everything you
will find there, it can be a bit overwhelming and I personally
do not visit that website often, but it is very enjoyable if you
know how to navigate around it...

I wrote this, and Sarah jumped in before me. I'm posting it
anyway.
Reddit is a communicative website, to put it simply. However,
has a multitude of definitive and unique features that ensure it
lives up to its claim as "the front page of the Internet."
The most prominent of these are the "subreddits;" essentially,
mini-forums, each with a unique topic. Individual YouTubers,
video games, politics and hairstyles; I could go and make an
subreddit for Inrazimad right now, if I wished to.
As I said, check it out tomorrow, or even now if you're curious.
It's not quite a forum, but it's a lot less limited than one.

The front page of the internet...
I must really be removed from the world.
[s]Do you guys have a favorite piece of art or a favorite
artist? I'm looking for something I can use as the icon for an
art folder.[/s]
You childrenses failed. I just used a Basquiat piece.
Let me try this again... What purpose do wisdom teeth have?

Near to none, I believe. If they ever had any, they are
obviously no longer needed.

I found out randomly that they were for grinding up
vegetables...
Does anyone know what this is from? I recognize the mouse
creature, but I can't place the television show.

Indeed.
In fact, a significant fraction of humans no longer develop
their wisdom teeth.
