When we first got my cat, Sarah, she had astraphobia (a fear of
lightning and thunder). My dog, Kesi, hid under the table with
Sarah and pretended to be afraid as well, even though we knew
she wasn't. She let Sarah hide in between her front legs as they
were both lying on the carpet.
