I haven't bumped it. This was the first topic in the
Introductions board.

Doesn't matter what terminology you use. No one was actively
posting, spam or not, and as such, there was no reason for you
to call for the close of a thread that had barely passed the
first page if you use default settings, had not reached forty
posts and had not outlived its usefulness or purpose.
*Sigh*
Where is it said that thread must be closed when it reaches
forty posts? Oh, let's see here. Nowhere. So yeah, this should
be closed. There is nothing more to discuss in this topic.

Sandra, it has been discussed before that 40 posts on an
introduction thread was a good guideline as to when it should be
closed. Since it is not a rule and is just a guideline for
Cyclone and Aidan, it has not been written down (to my
knowledge).
Regardless, before you posted, it was on topic. No one was
spamming it. It was not causing a problem. There may be more to
discuss. Not everyone has welcomed Voidstorm and he might just
come along to respond to some posts. Frankly, you should not
have posted an off-topic post about having this thread closed.
In a static thread, it would be best to contact Cyclone or Aidan
if you feel that it should be closed.
Furthermore, you should not argue with the Administrator. He
made this forum. He knows the rules. You know that in the past
when you have argued with him, it was not a pleasant experience
for anyone. When the Administrator is talking about his forum
and his rules, you should just back down when his language
suggests that you should.
If he says it will not be closed, you should just accept his
decision, or, if you don't like it, send him a private message
rather than continuing to post off-topic.

Pretty much what Neamhain said. Give him a little bit of
respect; he created this forum. Anyways, a thread shouldn't
really need to be closed unless it is off-topic or spammed. If
nobody is posting on it, it won't hurt to keep it open in case
anyone has got anything else to say, the fact that it's barely
past its first page means there very well could be more to
discuss.

I am not good at introductions so I'll just use the
tried-and-tested bullet list method.
Voidstorm:
[li]likes tea[/li]
[li]doesn't like coffee[/li]
[li]has a short attention span[/li]
[li]likes programming[/li]
[li]hates writing in languages other than English[/li]
[li]doesn't like drawing things that aren't polygons[/li]
[li]likes bullet lists[/li]
[li]is allergic to thermometers[/li]
[li]dislikes plastics[/li]
[li]dislikes animals other than humans[/li]
[li]doesn't get why animal conservation is needed[/li]
Anything I missed or need to add? Perhaps who I voted for last
elections or my bank account details?
I didn't want to post an intro and still don't, but I've typed
most of it already. I had hoped we'll get to know each other
better by interacting; rather than just typing out an
introduction. I should copy this intro down for other things
too. . . .

As in . . . The mercury in thermometers? Or just thermometers in
general?

All thermometers. You don't want to know why.

That's an interesting thing to be allergic to. Oh hey, how old
are you? Or what ages are you sort of 'around'? (You don't have
to answer that.)
Because apparently you have bank account details and voted for
someone in the last election...

I am 15-ish. Perhaps I shouldn't have used 'allergic' in that
sentence. A person can't biologically be allergic to
thermometers. It's more like an irrational fear.
Elections can be for anything, it need not be always politics
related.

I hate irrational fears. I have trypanophobia and arachnophobia.
It is sad. :(
In the last election I voted in, I voted for Hitler!
