Finally catching onto what Ida wanted to do, Miranna bent down
and examined him closer.
"I've never seen you around before. Are you a merchant or
something? You don't look like one of the farmers around here."
When he hesitated, Miranna stood back up again, and turned to
her sister, morphing her face into a concerned one. Knowing her,
Ida would probably know that she was anything but.
"It's turning dark. I don't think anyone will still be out and
about. Perhaps we should try and treat him ourselves?" Miranna
asked, an eyebrow raised.

* quick note* I am not nearly as good as a writer as you guys,
so don't mind please, but I will try my best.
My guy may not actually come in for some time, but I still will
give his back story.
He is 5 6' and slim in stature, he is loyal to nothing except
the promise of money. He works in the fields of asasination and
espionage. He is skilled with throwing knives, swordsmanship, is
accurate with the bow and arrow, and close quarters combat. No
one knows where he lives and you can only find him at night on
shadowy alleys, roads, and taverns. To most people he is known
as "shadow" few people know his name, it has no meaning to
anyone, though it is the highest, form of trust he gives. He
will always work for the highest bidder.

Ida nodded at Anna, "We will take him home? Mother won't notice;
she'll be out and busy most of the time. We can help him and
then he can go home." Ida said, knowing exactly what she had
planned. At night, when the man (hopefully) slept, Ida would
examine his belongings for any sign of what he was doing. The
man limped after Ida and Anna as they emerged from the forest.
The town was quiet, only few people were out and about. Ida
beckoned for the man to follow them. He seemed quite interested
in the palace and glanced over to it when he thought they were
not noticing.
Ida turned to the man before they reached their house. "We can
help you in the small room downstairs, but tomorrow we have to
notify someone about you being here - the king has ordered any
newcomers to be brought to his attention. You know, with this
war going on, we can never be sure!" The man looked uneasy and
clutch his cloak tightly. Ida longed to see what was in it and
planned to look at it tonight. Ida opened the door slightly and
peeked in, making sure nobody was out. She crept over to the
pantry door and grabbed a few jars and bottles before leading
the man with Anna following to the basement. They slowly went
down the stairs and Ida laid out the few things she had gotten
from the cupboard. The man crumpled down on the floor and
watched Ida closely.
After mixing a few things and luring other liquids out she
handed the man a bowl of soup. "Our mother taught us to make a
broth that helps heal..." Ida said quickly and watched the man
drink it. She smiled and sat down, tidying up a few things and
chucking the man a blanket. Within a few minutes the man had
become very lathargic and had fallen asleep. Anna looked puzzled
so Ida explained, "I may have added a bit of that sleeping
potion..." She said with a smirk. "Now we can find out who he
really is!" She said, pulling his coat off.
The man was almost bald with a few white hairs sticking out of
his small head. His face was wrinkly and his back looked
painfully bruised. Ida opened the cloak and gasped, almost
falling back as she saw all the knives and weaponry he had under
the coat. She looked at Anna who seemed just as worried as she
was. "That man could've killed us any time!" Ida cried. "He may
have planned to as well..." She mumbled, taking the cloak up
stairs. Ida hid the coat under her bed and went back down. "What
do we do?!" Ida asked her sister, hoping she had an idea. They
had some sort of assailant in their house!

Miranna watched her sister have a mini-panic, whilst trying to
think of something as well. The man was already odd as he was,
and the dangerous amount of weapons he had, made her all the
more wary of him.
"Okay, let's pretend we don't know what we just found out. We
give him back his cloak and . . . and . . ." Miranna trailed
off, trying to think of something. Interrogate him? Bring him to
the castle? "I dunno, maybe we can keep him here and find out
more about him first?" She finished off, unsure.
Miranna glanced over to the suspicious man, who was sprawled
over the floor.

Ida thought frantically. "But what if he uses his weapons? We
can't trust him with them! Maybe... Why would he come with us
when he knows he's in danger here unless he planned to use
them..." Ida mumbled, going off into a trail of thought buried
deep into the many dark possibilities and habits of this man.
Anna was surely concerned about her thoughts as Ida became
worried about what they had done. "He'll wake up soon, I only
put a bit in so we could have a look..." Ida said, even more
worried.
Thoughts whizzed through her mind about what this man could do,
thoughts about the war and how there could be 10 more assailants
in that forest awaiting a safe passage, blood thirsty. Villagers
could be losing hope, fleeing to the other side to seek refuge
and hopefully a victory. "I'll go get the cloak... If we give it
to him we should arm ourselves and keep watch on him all the
time..." Ida said, getting the cloak and putting it back on the
man trying to replicate the way it was before. "I'm... Going to
go sharpen that old sword..." Ida said, thinking of an excuse to
escape the scene and think about what she could do. She walked
up the stairs and into her room that she shared with her sister,
reaching for the old rusty sword they had found in the forest
one day and decided to try and fix.

Miranna nodded, and hurried to the little hut in the garden, as
her sister went upstairs to find the sword. The hut was a little
weaponary her sister and she had made made it into, hence the
reason why it was stocked with knives and arrows. It was a
little camouflaged hut, squeezed in between two small apple
trees in the corner of the garden.
Glancing around her, Miranna checked if there was anyone about,
before swinging the door open and entering, then slamming the
door again. The hut was completely secret, and the only people
who knew about it, was Miranna, Ida and Rena. Scanning the
interior of the hut, she picked up several throwing daggers, and
a decent sized knife for each of them, before opening the door
again and making sure it was securely closed after she had
stepped out.
Sliding one of the two knives into her simple leather boots, and
a few daggers hidden on her belt, Miranna returned to the house
and waited for Ida while keeping an eye on the man who was still
sprawled on the floor.
After a short while, she heard footsteps coming down, and to the
room she was currently in. Thinking it was Ida, she turned
around and opened her mouth to speak, before coming face to face
with Rena. Blinking, Miranna tried to think of a reason to why
she would be coming here of all places.
"Errr . . . Mind telling me why there's a body here?" Rena asked
meekly, snapping Miranna out of her thoughts. Rena had gotten
used to wounded, or unconcious people being brought into their
house over the past few years, but it had always surprised her
whenever there was an unconcious person in the kitchen or a
bedroom.
"Ran into him outside, accidentally hit him with an arrow,
brought him here to see whether he was suspicious or not."
Miranna replied simply, which Rena nodded to.
"So . . . Do you need me to keep an eye on him?" Another thing
Rena would do for them, was keep an eye on them, while they did
whatever they needed to.
Miranna nodded. "That'd be useful, thanks. Here, if he decides
to attack you, use the dagger. Alert us as soon as he's awake."
Rena simply nodded, and took the dagger that had been offered to
her. She knew how to use it, as Miranna and Ida would
occasionally teach her how to fight and all, and there was the
fact that she had been through many of these experiences.
Calling out another 'Thank you', Miranna rushed upstairs to her
room, shared with her sister.
"Ida! I got some stuff!" She shouted, bursting into the room,

Ida looked up and smiled when she saw what Anna had. She grabbed
a few weapons, throwing knives, hidden daggers and blades. "So
he wakes up and we interrogate him? And if he tries to attack us
we just defend ourselves?" Ida said. Anna nodded and walked
downstairs, Ida following. The man was still sprawled on the
floor but Ida knew he would wake up soon so she quickly stole
one of his blades with a weird inscription on the end and some
words. 'Dashner Misik' it read. Ida frowned, "Any idea what this
means?" Ida asked Anna. Ida knew the word sounded familiar; she
had seen it on a poster about a band of criminals or
something...

Miranna glanced over at the dagger and shook her head.
"Never heard of it." She replied, after racking her brain.
"Rena."
The woman turned and nodded, gesturing for her to continue.
"Ever heard of 'Dashner Misik' before?"
Rena seemed to ponder for a while before shaking her head. "I
don't go out all that often, and I've never heard of it."
Frowning, Miranna simply turned and looked down at the man
again.

Ida's eyes widened as she realised where she had heard of it
from. She dashed outside and into their secret hut. On the wall
they kept posters and notices about criminals and people the
kingdom despised, do they could keep a look out for them and
help their side win the war. On the third poster, 5 frames of
faces, all bony with crooked noses and black coats, a rough
sketch of the 5 Dashner brothers, a group of assassins from the
other kingdom. The leader, the eldest had been captured and
promised his brothers would tear the kingdom apart if they
killed him, which they did. Talonia had been on watch for them
ever since and now Ida and Anna had caught one of them. Ida
stuffed the poster in her bag to show it to Anna. She ran down
the stairs, not noticing the stirring man and revealed the
poster, "Anna! Look! I know who he is!" Ida said before Anna
could warn her. The man stood up, smiling, "Surprise!" He said.
"Talonia tore our brotherhood apart when they took John. Now you
will all fall!" He yelled, opening his coat and reaching for a
knife. Ida stumbled back, shaking her head at what she did. All
she worried about now was what would happen to the rest of their
family if this man prevailed. What about her mother, probably
sleeping peacefully? Ida reached for a dagger on the side of her
boot and prepared to defend her and her sister...
(Well we might as well have some action whilst we await the
others to join the rpg)
