Graycat threatened Raymond (yes, it may just be a mock threat,
but Raymond took it seriously), and you just annoyed him and
everyone else. Both, well actually the latter, would be enough
to make somebody mad, and so began the verbal war.

I'd correct second part of your sentence to "you and everyone
annoyed everyone else".
