RiverClan! It is time for a meeting!

Jasminewish jumped on the high rock. "All cats old enough to
swim in the river, join here under the high rock for a clan
meeting!" She yowled. She looked around for the cats who were
coming and sat down. "Cats of RiverClan! Today, we lose a great
leader, Splashstar. He was noble, kind, wise, and above all
loyal to his clan." She meowed trears rolling down her cheek.
"But, we will greif for him soon. For know it is time to appoint
a deputy." She meowed and looked at her cats.

[center]The medicine cat, Cupidarrow, padded out of his den and
watched Jasminewish on Highrock. He could hear the relaxing
movements of the river and he was instantly not filled with
grief for his former leader Splashstar. Cupidarrow watched his
leader and sighed. She must be absolutely heart-broken about all
of this. Cupidarrow would probably talk to her later near the
river or in his den. Shrugging, he leapt onto his position on
the Highrock. It was very close to the medicine cat den, and
Cupidarrow could not see Berylpaw. Can always trust apprentices
to be late he thought angrily. He also wondered were the deputy
was. He knew it was going to be either Darkwhispers or
Dreamcatcher. Both were extremely good loyal warriors. [/center]

[tt]Confettipaw, large deer-like eyes wide, waited near
Cupidarrow. Clan meetings were always exciting, but this one had
a solemn tone. She had loved Splashstar like a father..and now
he was gone. Jasminestar was likeable enough, but would never
replace the older tom.

Looking down at his paws, Cupidarrow noticed a small figure sit
close to him. He looked near by and found the apprentice
Confettipaw. He purred a 'hello' to the apprentice then turned
back to Jasminestar.

Jasminewish looked at her cats. "I say these words above
StarClan,so they may hear and above my choice." She meowed.
"Dreamchcatcher will be the new deputy of RiverClan." She
meowed.

Cupidarrow looked at Dreamcatcher. He smiled at Dreamcatcher and
started to chant her name.
Darkwhisper, the warrior, really thought she had a good chance.
But alas, she did not care for it. "Dreamcatcher, Dreamcatcher,"
she called out with the rest of the Clan.

knew that Darkwhisper was vying for the position, but he would
have his chance, she was sure of it.

ic; Cupidarrow sat, flicking his tail impatiently.
Darkwhispers sat closer to her second apprentice Confettipaw.
Her old apprentice Spiderbite had recently become a loner. She
wrapped her long dilute tortoiseshell around Confettipaw. She
was a motherly figure to Confettipaw.
