Brownie was name checked by Eddie in an interview as being in
the squad so hope for him and Robshaw could well make the squad
       as his experience vital.

about a squad. I didn't say they would be starters, merely that
they should - imo- be there. Today was superb all round, special
mention - imo- to Spade, who has had his critics.

Mega games from Nowell, Tuilagi, Slade, M Vunipola & Sinckler in
       my opinion.
Still not convinced with Daly at 15. Very lucky with his try, he
over kicked his chip through and was lucky Irish chap missed the
bounce in order for Daly to pounce on it. Had May fetching the
high balls for him which isn’t bad but also shows it’s still a
major weakness and cause for concern in his own game at test
level. It’s not because I support Harlequins, but I still
believe Brown is England’s number one go to guy when it comes to
       15 for England.
Didn’t see much of Robson so hard to comment as of yet. I hope
Care and Robson will be our 9 and 21 for this upcoming World
Cup. Eddie has had a lot of criticism going his way but he’s
pulled it off here, and if we can keep up this ferocious defence
and fearlessness about us while playing each game at a
consistent level, I believe we will be a big favourite for the
       World Cup this year.

Well I'm pleased I was wrong. May was excellent! Daly still
looked a bit hesitant under the high balls he did have to deal
with, but May took most of them. We almost out Irelanded
Ireland. Chip and chase was well played and the line or worked
really well till we lost both Kruis and Itoje. Very pleasing
       result 😁

Great performance, but you need more than 23 to win a world cup.
For the 3 Quins, I am guessing....
Robshaw - As it stands I expect EJ would take Billy V, Hughes,
Curry, Underhill, Wilson and then a shoot out between Robshaw
       and Shields
Care - Depends how many SH EJ takes. Youngs easily first
choice. Robson is still unknown, likewise Spencer. I could see
him getting in as one of the 3.
Brown - Daly played ok but as mentioned elsewhere, had May doing
most of his catching. I would be surprised to see Brown not go
as part of the squad. May come down to a shoot out with Ashton.
Im not saying all 3 are going to walk back in to the side, but
they all have a very good chance of being in a World cup squad

Yes, I did. And it was encouraging. But England have the
toughest pool schedule of any team in the RWC, with Argentina
and France as the last two games, followed by QF, SF and Final
if they want to win the thing. No other team has to win 5 games
of that intensity over 5 weeks (and I believe no other team ever
has). England will need a full squad of 31 capable of holding a
test berth in their own right, no backups and very little room
for experiment in the tournament itself. It looks to me that
Eddie is using the 6N as the last chance for developing his less
       experienced options.
He will need three scrum halves and at least two fullbacks in
the RWC squad, so barring injury or extreme loss of form it’s
highly likely that Care and Brown will travel. Robshaw has more
competition for the slot, but as the most experienced option, a
player whose injury record is better than most of the other
competitors and a player who coaches have consistently picked
when fit, I wouldn’t bet against him.

I think that Chris Robshaw, Danny Care and Mike Brown's days of
playing for England are over. Shame, but there you go, they've
       had a good run.
Watching Chris Robshaw against Saracens last week, he was so
pedestrian. Early on he almost gave away a try with a clumsy
pass. Yes, I know he has just come back from injury and is match
rusty, but even so, I thought it was poor.

Robson wasn't trusted to get on the pitch was he?
Daly was still pretty awful under the high ball and aside from
his lucky kick we saw very little from him. He didn't spark
anything, made very few metres, and just looks a much lesser
player than when he's on the wing (or at 13 for Wasps).
