The Table at the moment...

So here is the table as it stands this morning. Looks good,
doesn't it!

Look a little closer, and there's some nice stats too:
- Joint second in tries conceded
- Joint second in total bonus points
- Most Losing Bonus Points
- Third best points difference
- Fourth highest number of tries scored
To me that says we've more than earned our 3rd place spot. We're
consistently fighting for everything (where in past seasons we'd
have lost heavily after we went behind). Our defence has been
vastly improved. We're making teams fight to get past us now. If
we can get our try scoring a bit more consistent then we've
every chance to make the play-offs.

6th is the lowest we've been in the table all season. Lately we
had 4 weeks at 5, 1 week at 4 and 1 week at 3.

Conceding the same number of tries as Saracens is pretty nice.

While not doubting that we deserve to be 3rd - it's not like
we're there by luck - I still find it weird that we're 3rd with
a 50/50 win/loss ratio.
I don't see us as a top 4 team but top 6 yes. I'd be happy if we
end up 6th - I predicted 8th before the season started.

Just means the league is more competitive, no two freebies
against an obvious relegation candidate.

Got the weirdest feeling we might scrape fourth, cause a huge
upset at either 'Park' in the Semi....and then who knows in the
final!!! :)

Quins played a team at the bottom of the table that has won 3/12
matches and Quins are now only 5 points from 7th, then 4 points
from 11th with a few big boys to play. Calmer Mon Cher

One positive is that the next 2 league games are home against 2
of the bottom 3. If can can win both of those, and with a bonus
point or two, then that momentum could be pretty important.

Well, one of the presents my B-in-Law & his new Mrs got me for
Christmas is a ticket to the Prem Final, so I'm claiming that as
an omen!
