League position this time last year?

Does anyone know what position in the league we were this time
in the 2017/18 season after 11 games ?
We have 28 pts vs 25 last year, but feels like 4th is higher
than we were a year ago ?

I think the BG10 win against Saints last year got us up to 6th
(maybe 7th). It was either side of 1 point defeats to Sale and
Newcastle.
The loss to 14 man Wasps in February was the beginning of the
implosion.

Even if the improvement is marginal, we do feel in a much
better place; agreed. That collapse won't happen again! Happy
New Year!!!!!

As has been said this is where we’ll see the difference. I’m
hoping top 4 but think we may end up 5th. Really interested to
hear the in/outs as they come.

I think it also comes down to the fact that this season the
competition is much closer. There is 9 points separating 3rd and
10th, and a mere 5 points separating 4th and 10th. Given this,
I'm not sure comparisons to last years position are really that
valid. That said, It's nice going into the new year in the top
4!

It is great, but it is largely due to bonus points, which is
something we were not getting a while back. I think the Tigers
away game is the only one we've not taken at least a point from?
That's really making the difference...now we just need to get on
the right side of those close games and get some breathing space
between us and the clubs below us. Amazingly tight league this
season, so every point, bonus or otherwise, is going to be very
important.

Hi Quins, i have just joined this forum. I have enjoyed reading
the various posts on all the various subjects. But to business,
previous positions for the past 3 years at Round 11 (since club
membership began) is 15/16...4th, 16/17...6th, 17/18...9th. Hope
this is useful.

Well, now we're third. By the roadmap, our 33 points would have
us tracking somewhere between 6th and 4th, so we are higher than
we might always expect. but it's such an unusual season that
it's very hard to predict how things will turn out. It will be
very interesting to watch the next few rounds

I would be quite happy if Jones decided he did not need Brown
and Care!!!
