"Rugby teams are feisty and try to wind-up opponents shock" —
doesn't sound like the kind of headline to sell papers.

That's a pretty horrible picture of Brown being taken out in the
       air.

The whole point about sanctions against players is to protect
them. Like it or not the sanctions against the high tackle are
there to stop head injuries. So too competing for a ball whilst
a player(s) are in the air. Whether the ref saw the Mike Brown
incident or not with the request from the player(s) he should
have taken time out to review the event. He rightly did so with
Dave Ward and correctly yellow carded him.
Joe M has also been accused by the assistant referee for verbal
abuse - that is he complained strongly that there was no
protection for being punched. So again - what were the
officials up to and if there is a complaint of such seriousness
       - it should be looked at. For two reasons. If right it will
stop players punching other players and thinking they are out of
sightand can get away with it. Secondly - if it is an
irresponsible and untrue claim by the player - a penalty is
awarded against him.. Either way it stops the niggles getting
out of hand and after a very short while - a few matches -
       players understand the protocol.

about 2 minutes into the game and we had to play whole match
with 14 men. From memory I think we won didn’t we?
