Dallaglio's commentary is hilariously biased on this one! "Is it
a case of brown jumping into him, or Bassett holding his
ground." Wasps can do no wrong in this mans eyes

I find it interesting how Quins react to a relatively small
altercation with a self-policing sanction whilst Pests do
nothing, and of that small altercation Young Snr spits (ho ho)
vitriol whilst of a potentially career-ending tackle Gussy takes
a measured response.
I guess that's the gulf in class between the two clubs.

I’m not sure about a gulf of class between the two clubs. I do
find Wasps have a bit of a mentality of we were once great
therefore we should always be great attitude at times though
regardless of how poorly they’re playing.
Stupidly I had a look over on the sportsnetwork board for Pests
and there seems to be an opinion that we’re a team full of
niggle. It has been mentioned by a couple of other teams as well
- usually happens when we win. We do have some abrasive
characters but I wouldn’t see us as much worse than any other
team for ‘niggle’.

I remember when the Warriors board went into meltdown over
Matthews being a Thug. I cannot think of a less Thuggish player
if I tried!!!

Our players have a bit of a reputation as being feisty (look at
how many times the commentators refer to it).
I think that Wasps were trying to wind up our players
(especially our front three) in the hope of getting penalties,
or better.
