4th halfway through the season is extremely good and much better
than I hoped for.Congrats to Gussie and the players.If we finish
top 4 that will be amazing but top 6 perfectly acceptable.After
2 seasons of misery it is now enjoyable again to be a Quin.

It was identical to that for England v Australia. Can’t speak
for the other autumn games, but get the sense this big British
Airways entrance gate hasn’t helped at all.

4 points and 4th place. Bank that and continue. We continued to
be our own worst enemy on a few occasions today and tried to
throw it away but the defence looked much stronger overall.
Winning the period when we were down to 14 men was as impressive
as Wardy’s stupidity to be sin binned was unimpressive.

What is everyone's opinion on the accusations that Ward spat at
a Wasps player? Andy Goode on his Twitter seems pretty certain
that Ward spat and had directly tagged Ward into it so he gets
abuse which is pretty classless from find ex Wasps and slightly
bigger man.

He defiantly spat I’m not convinced it was at the wasps player
how the wasps player wasn’t carded for the retaliation I don’t
know aoatantjy it’s ok to head but sone one in the chest

Not surprised Goode has reacted that way. He’s Piers Morgan-lite
on Twitter these days. I unfollowed it got so tedious.

Agreed. A Leicester supporting mate calls him rent-a-gob. Dave
does some daft things but I don’t believe he’d do something as
out of order as intentionally spitting at a player.

Going up the 316 to the next roundabout in a huge traffic jam to
turn around and queue back in a traffic jam, park, walk to the
stadium to queue for ever to get in to the stadium....

Sorry, but I left the stadium feeling little better than I would
had we lost. Congratulations to the boys for winning, natural,
but a little perspective is necessary. If we’re at a genuine
‘4th’ standard then it says an awful lot about the low standard
evident in the Premiership - Chiefs and Sarries apart, of
course. Let’s not forget that should Newcastle beat Bristol
tomorrow, and the latter secure a losing bonus point, then we’re
horribly exposed to a situation where a further 2 losses by our
boys would place us at risk of relegation.
Whilst our defence has markedly improved over last season, we
still show little evidence whatsoever of creativity in attack.
With the start we had, that game should have been put to bed by
half time. Is it a lack of confidence or is there something
deeper at play? Brainless penalties (Ward deserved a ‘red’ if,
as reported, he stamped on an ankle at the breakdown and then
spat in the guy’s face when he objected) don’t help our cause. I
suspect that some of our players need to take a very hard look
at themselves.
