Sione is Kepu's cousin along with Taulupe Faletau and the
Vunipola brothers.

They are actually all related, uncle is the term that pacific
islanders use that is best not taken on face value.

They call themselves cousins without distinguishing whether
they're first, second, third cousins etc. I remember one of the
Vunipolas or Faletau talking about it. They use the term fairly
loosely!

Agree they are cousins but as you say not first cousins, never
give someone leave if they come from Fiji and say they need it
because of their uncle, was a lesson I learned.

I suppose they're small enough islands that a lot of people will
be second or third cousins. Kind of like coming from Essex.

I lived in Essex for a long time, and you cannot deny that parts
of it are a little too close. If I was talking about Norfolk,
I'd say first cousins.

really wish we would move on from at least LCD and possibly dan.

had more gametime by now. Oghre and Langdon really should be
there over them

Think we'll be stuck with JvP for another 12-18 months,
particularly given Mitchell's precipitous drop in form last
season. It's early days for the extremely talented generation
coming through and Borthwick is a conservative man.

I predict that Borthwick will get us far enough into the world
cup that the suits will be satisfied, all the while not in any
way threatening to win it. We will be competently dull, and
another opportunity for the sport to flourish will be wasted.
