Bellamy has a huge amount of potential, and is in similar mode
to Furbank, Green looked back to his old self, if he can
continue on yesterday’s level, makes fullback an interesting
selection, but I suspect in reality makes the opposite wing to
Murley an interesting selection.
Slevin played well and just did his job very competently,
bringing in journeyman 10’s has not served us well since we won
the title.
First game and without most of our starters but the big thing
was we looked like we understood how we wanted to play and did
it, in both attack and defence, we also have an amazing amount
of very talented young players coming through, so many in fact
that we probably will have to lose some in the future, we seem
to have for instance 3 very good young hookers.
The new coaching regime seems to have got the players believing
in the style, all very early days, but you see the difference to
last season.

He put in some good cameos at the end of last season, hopefully
his arm/shoulder injury is not too bad and he is back in
contention in the near future.

Seems like the squad are enjoying rugby again which is a good
sign. Chickens and hatching etc but not a bad way to start the
new season
