PRICE CONCESSIONS FOR QUINS MEMBERS ON DRINKS AT FULLERS PUBS

A number of Fullers pubs have been offering a price concession
on the cost of drinks purchased when a Harlequins membership
card is presented at the time of purchase.
With the new ST arrangements (App on phone) I wonder whether
this concession will continue, as it will no longer be possible
to present a physical membership card. Does anyone know?
Apologies if this has been discussed previously and I missed it.

Perhaps ask in the pub, it has been going on since 2014 before
Fullers sold the brewery to Asahi who are the part that sponsors
us, the pub part which is still owned by the original company
has a relationship with the Harlequins foundation.

I didn't know that it worked with your Quins card.
I thought it only worked with your Quinssa card

Somebody told me years ago that you get 10% off drinks in the
Cabbage Patch so on the odd occasions I’ve been in there I’ve
flashed the membership card. Odd thing is, it doesn’t apply on
match days I was told. So I don’t go there on those days. I use
the Twickenham Brewery which is much cheaper anyway. Could you
show your match ticket on the app? Only members would have that
on their phone.

The Harlequins discount scheme was starter in November 2014
This deal ended in 2016
Quinssa arranged this in 2016:
Quinssa Discounts
Cabbage Patch Discount
Although the deal Harlequins had with Fullers has now ended, the
Cabbage Patch will give Quinssa members a 10% discount on food
and drink on production of a valid Quinssa membership card. This
offer is not valid on RFU event days or Quins First XV home
games.
From a Quinssa mailer from May 2022:
Home away from Home - 15% Discount
We are delighted to announce the following deal Quinssa have
arranged with the Fullers pubs in the Twickenham area. Many
thanks to Stuart at the Cabbage Patch for your hard work setting
this up.
This originally started as an idea for our members to watch
Quins away games together when televised and be a Home away from
Home and it has grown from there.
The following pubs have agreed to support us:
The Admiral Nelson, Whitton
The Cabbage Patch, Twickenham
The Prince Albert, Twickenham Green
The Prince Blucher, Twickenham Green
The Prince’s Head, Richmond
The Turks Head, St Margarets
Each of the pubs will show our televised away games and the deal
is 15% off all food and drink for our members on production of
your digital or physical Quinssa membership card. Everyone in
your group is entitled to the discount.
This discount is not available on Quins home game days,
Twickenham Stadium days or special occasions (Easter, Mother’s
Day, Father’s Day, Christmas & NYE etc). Please also note that
the discount is not available on Thai food at The Prince Albert
as this is a separate franchise.
Please note that this only works with your Quinssa membership
card not your Harlequins membership card.
In Feb 2024 the Quinssa mailer said that there were some issues
with the above and there is a link to their website with more
details. But, the website has moved since then and the link no
longer works.
So - basically, if you have been negotiating a discount based on
your Harlequins member card, then well done to you :-)

I just go to the eel pie, get 15% discount even on match days
with my Blue Light card.

and I think it also works at the WebbEllis

I think the CAMRA deal at The Webb Ellis is using the 50p off a
real ale or real cider vouchers you get with CAMRA membership.
You can only use one voucher per visit.

You can buy a share in the Fullers' pub business and your
shareholder card gets you a discount - from memory 10% - in all
their pubs
